The Morehouse School of Religion remains elated to have had Georgia State Representative Stacie Abrams to serve as our 2018 Founder’s Day keynote speaker.
Since then, Ms Abrams has become Georgia’s Democratic gubernatorial nominee. She is the first African American to do so, and she may be elected the first African American governor in Georgia’s state history. Like the state of Georgia, Morehouse School of Religion prophetically stands on the right side of history.
